Recent Community Projects and information from our previous meeting:
Malakwa Community Library hours have changed. The Library is now open on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Malakwa library is looking for volunteers, please stop by the library on Saturday and let Jim know you are interesting in helping.
Malakwa Centennial Park – watch for “Music in the Park to return in August, 2019
Malakwa Thrift Shop is open for the season on Thursdays from 10:00 – 4:00.
Yard Creek Camp Ground is open for the season. .

Fire Dept. – Andy Itterman, firechief of the Malakwa Fire Department was excited to announce that they will participate in a Junior Firefighters program. Gospel Church – The Malakwa Gospel Church will be hosting 3 upcoming barbecues on June 1, June 29 and July 27 from 12:00 – 2:00. All are welcome.
New members are always welcome and Malakwa Community members are encouraged to join the Association and help with the many projects that are happening! Membership is only $10.00 per year. The Association contributes to many community projects throughout the year and maintains the Malakwa website www.malakwa.ca
