Malakwa Community Hall April, 2017

The Malakwa Community Hall was torn down in April, 2017.  The snow load during the winter of 2017 collapsed the center of the building.  The hall had not been used for some time as it was deemed unsafe.  This Community Hall was the second hall built in the community, it was built by volunteers in the early 1980’s.  The building was torn down by Trevor Vandenberg and his crew. The kitchen portion of the hall was left standing and is being used for storage.
