Malakwa Community Association Meeting March 27, 2025

Plan to attend the next Community Association Meeting on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Malakwa School Library. Everyone is invited.

Inforamtion from the February 27th meeting:

The Malakwa Fire Department in partnership with the Resource Centre inquired about the possibility holding a second Food Drive in June. Watch for further information regarding time and date.

The Fire Chief shared activity at the local department during the month of February.

It was suggested that more activities be held at the Malakwa Learning Centre. If you have suggestions such as Movie Nights, Bingo, Card Nights and have time to organize and supervise please bring it to our next meeting.

The Malakwa Thrift Shop will re-open the first Saturday in June – June 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Thrift Shop is asking for volunteers. If you could volunteer and hour or two each week to help with the Thrift Store operation please contact Sandy Nelson at 604-841-4516 or email Sandy at mccabooks@gmail.com The Thrift Shop will be open June through August 2025.
