Malakwa Heritage Church turns 100 Years – Celebrate with us!

Our community’s beautiful heritage church will celebrate100 years in 2024. We hope that you can join in a celebration on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. at the Malakwa Heritage Church. Please bring something to share as we will enjoy a potluck lunch meal outdoors during the afternoon. Cold plate items only for lunch please, sandwiches, veggies, pickles, squares, cookies, etc.

We are hoping that if you have memories to share you will join in for this centennial. If you have photos you would like posted to our malakwa.ca historical website, eg. marriage certificates, wedding photos, baptisms, funerals please bring a copy to the celebration. We will have a box at the church to gather these photos and will scan and upload them to our website. Please ensure that any information you can provide accompany the photos with dates, names and event and a contact number in case we need more information. Please do not leave original photos.
