Malakwa July, 2024 Happenings

Saturday, July 6, 2024 – 11:00 am at the Malakwa School gym – a memorial service will be held for long-time Malakwa resident Florence Boyes in the gymnasium.

The next Souper Saturday event will be held at the Malakwa Gospel Church on Saturday, August 24. Lunch by donation. Everyone welcome.

Thrift Shop Update: The Thrift Shop is changing its opening day each week. Beginning Saturday, July 13, 2024 the Thrift shop will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please bring your reusable grocery bags for the $2.00 bag sales. Plastic bags will no longer be provided.

Malakwa Community Association Meeting – the next Community Meeting will be held August 22, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the Malakwa School Library. Meetings are held once a month on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
